Sensex down by 160 points in noon trade

The BSE benchmark Sensex which fell by over 129 points in opening trade, was trading 160 points in red at 18,154 when reports last came in. The 30-share barometer, which gained 117 points in the previous session, fell by 130 points, or 0.71 per cent, to 18,185 in the first few minutes of trade. In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 50 points in red at 5,467.
