The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell by 16 points to 17,197 a short while ago. Earlier the BSE benchmark Sensex recovered by 69 points to 17,282 in early trade today after three sessions of weakness on emergence of buying by funds and retailers ahead of inflation data. The 30-share barometer, had lost nearly 405 points in the last three sessions.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was trading 5 points in green at 5,232.
