Snapping a four-session rally, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed 121 points, or 0.7 percent lower, at 17,590, on profit-booking, on Tuesday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 40 points, or 0.8 percent, to 5,262.Meanwhile, stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea gained between 0.2 percent and 1 percent, following positive consumer spending data.
