The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange washed out earlier gains and was quoted lower by 81 points to 20,527 in late morning trade today. The fall attributed by fresh selling, mainly in banking, auto, FMCG and capital goods counters. Earlier, the 30- share index rose nearly 143 points in early trade today. The Nifty at the National Security Exchange also fell by 32 points to 6,080.
