Erasing initial gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a loss of 79 points, or 0.4 percent, at 18,673, on mild profit booking, amid subdued Asian and European markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed 22 points, or 0.4 percent to 5,670.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
