The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 58 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 16,179, in opening trade, on Tuesday, on selling by investors. But the Sensex later recovered, and stood 65 points, or 0.4 percent in the green, at 16,302, a short while ago. Stock markets Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan were mixed.
