The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange had lost 54 points, or 0.3 percent, to 20,840 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Earler in morning deals, the Sensex had fallen 32 points, or 0.2 per cent, to 20,862 as funds and retail investors booked profits after recent gains.
