Erasing all its early gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange shed 45 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 17,384, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 5 points, or 0.1 percent, to 5,254.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
