The benchmark BSE Sensex today fell over 39 points, or 0.19 per cent, in early trade on sustained selling by funds amid a weak trend in other Asian markets.The National Stock Exchange index,Nifty, also declined by 13.75 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 6,188.10.Brokers said sustained selling by funds amid a weak trend in the Asian region following overnight weakness at the US market mainly influenced the trading sentiment.The rupee trimmed initial losses and was quoted 3 paise lower at 62.39 against the dollar, on mild dollar demand from banks and importers.
