Sensex down 30 pts in noon trade<br/>

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange, today declined by 30 points in its late morning trade, extending its initial loss. The fall was attributed to profits booked by funds and retail investors amid a weak trend on other Asian bourses.The 30-share index which had fallen by 85 points in its opening session, reduced further by 30 points to 17,855 when reports last came in. In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was trading 12 points in red at 5,409 a short while ago.
