The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a marginal loss of 3 points, at 19,664, on Thursday. This follows investors refraining from creating fresh positions ahead of the release of industrial output data, and quarterly corporate results. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also fell 3 points, to 5,969. But stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore gained between 0.2 percent and 0.8 percent.
