The BSE benchmark Sensex was trading down by 293 points at 16751 in late morning deals today. The 30-share Sensex, which lost 57 points in the previous session, had opened 221 points, down this morning.Meanwhile, the key benchmark indices in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan shed were down etween1.5 to 3.44 per cent in early trade.
