The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 286 points, or 1.5 percent, to close at 19,178, amid falling global markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 87 points, or 1.5 percent, to 5,771.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore lost between 0.3 percent and 2.5 percent.
