The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading 27 points in the negative territory, erasing initial gains at 18,604 when reports last came in. Earlier, the 30-share index gained 26 points in its opening trade after yesterday's losses on emergence of buying by funds and retailers.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was down by 5 points to 5,646 a short while ago .
