The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was down by 25 points during afternoon trading. The 30-share barometer which was up by 43 points in early trade today lost all its early gains and was trading at 18,425 with 25 points in red. Similarly, the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also lost its inital gains and was down by 8 points to 5,545.In Asia, Japan's Nikkei spurted by 2.01 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 0.41 per cent in early trade. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.28 per cent lower in the previous session on Friday.
