Falling for the third straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange plunged 214 points, or 1.1 percent, to close below the 19,000-mark amid falling global markets, today. The BSE closed at 18,827, touching this low after nearly two months. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 61 points, or 1.1 percent, to 5,699.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore posted significant losses of between 0.7 percent and 6.4 percent.
