The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 138 points, or 0.9 per cent, to 16,038, on Thursday .The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange lost 30 points, or 0.6 per cent, to 4,831.Most Asian markets fell, on Thursday , after China released inflation data, and ahead of central bank meetings and bond auctions in Europe. Japan's Nikkei 225 index lost 0.7%; Hong Kong's Hang Seng shed 0.3%; and China's Shanghai Composite and Singapore's Straits Times index declined 0.1%, each. But South Korea's KOSPI managed to gain 1%.The key European markets were mixed, as the focus turned to key economic data, including rate and monetary-policy announcements from the Bank of England and European Central Bank.
