Falling for the second straight day, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 102 points, or 0.5 percent, to close at a nearly two-month low of 19,041, today, after weak factory output and sticky inflation data. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange dropped 29 points, or 0.5 percent, to 5,760.Stock markets in Japan, South Korea and Singapore lost between 0.2 percent and 0.6 percent.
