Erasing all its gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a loss of one point, at 17,601, today. But the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed the day with a gain of just one point, at 5,338.Overseas, stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.In Europe, London's FTSE-100, France's CAC-40 and Germany's DAX fell over 0.5 per cent, in intra-day trade today.Overnight, on the New York Stock Exchange, Dow Jones industrial average gained 0.5 percent, to close at 13,169. And the Nasdaq index rose 0.9 percent to 3,016. Back home, in the currency market, the rupee weakened 11 paise, to trade at 55.17 against the dollar, in intra-day trade, a short while ago.Gold declined Rs 120 to Rs 30,080 per 10 grams in Delhi. But, silver held steady at Rs 53,500 per kilo.
