The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday declined 71 points, or 0.4 percent, to 17,059 on profit-booking by investors, amid a rise in food inflation. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 23 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,138. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea ended mixed.
