The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 190 points, or 1.1 percent, to 17,173, today, after volatile trade, on profit-booking by investors as the assembly election results came in, and as global markets also lost ground. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 58 points, or 1.1 percent, to 5,222. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore dropped between 0.6 percent and 2.2 percent.
