The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined by 126 points during noon. The 30-share barometer which opened on low note with 71 points down in early trade today, declined further to 126 points to trade at 19,997 during noon trade. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also fell by 31 points to 6,078.In the Asian region, Japan's Nikkei Index was up 1.63 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index shed 0.82 per cent in early trade.
