The BSE Sensex today soared to the life-time high of 33,117 and the NSE Nifty scaled the historic 10,340 mark in opening trade. After touching record high early, the indices continued trading in the green in the afternoon trade. The Sensex was up by 329 points at 32,937, a short while ago. The Nifty was also up by 57 points to trade at 10,265. Meanwhile, the rupee weakened by 8 paise to 65.15 against the US dollar in early trade.
