The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a nominal gain of 7 points, at 17,570, after volatile trade, today.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 5 points, or 0.1 per cent, to 5,289. But stock markets in Japan, China, and South Korea lost between 0.2 per cent and 1.3 per cent.
