The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 70 points, or 0.4 percent, to 18,745, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange slipped 18 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,632. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore ended mixed, as investors remained wary about Europe's sovereign debt problems.
