Snapping two days of gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a slim loss of 17 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 18,221, amid a rise in food inflation, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 7 points, or 0.1 percent, to 5,479.But stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore rose between 0.2 percent and 0.6 percent, on encouraging US economic data.
