Paring most of its early gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended just 34 points, or 0.2 per cent higher, at 18,032, on Monday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 7 points, or 0.1 percent, at 5,415. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore rose between 0.6 percent and 1.8 percent.
