Rebounding after a weak start, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed 87 points, or 0.5 percent higher, at 17,641, on Monday, with banks and PSUs leading the rally. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 23 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,275. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.
