Domestic equity benchmarks today gained for third day in a row this week even as global cues were negative.

Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 224 points, or 0.69 per cent, to close at 32,424. Similarly, the Nifty at National Stock Exchange settled 90 points, or 0.95 per cent, up at 9,580. In previous two sessions both indices rose more than five per cent.
