Sensex bounces 185 points in opening trade

The BSE benchmark Sensex today rebounded for the first time in six sessions by recovering 185 points in the opening trade. It was trading at 19,304, up by 76 points a short while ago. Analysts said the rise in Sensex is due to emergence of buying by funds and retail investors at prevailing lower levels. In the Asian region, the Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up by 0.74 per cent, while Japanese Nikkei was down by 0.12 per cent in the morning trade today.
