The BSE benchmark index Sensex which recovered by nearly 57 points in early trade lost its initial gains and was trading at 18,045 down by 90 points a short while ago.The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading 42 points down at 5, 462. Earlier, it gained 12 points to 5,518 a short while ago.
