Senior Union Ministers reviewed prevailing law and order situation in Haryana

Senior Union Ministers — Rajnath Singh, Manohar Parrikar, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj –have reviewed the prevailing law and order situation in Haryana in the wake of sudden spurt of violence following Jat agitation on quota.<br/><br/>The Union Ministers, along with NSA Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Director of Intelligence Bureau<br/><br/>Dineswar Sharma besides others, Friday night took stock of the situation in Haryana where curfew has been imposed in several towns after violence broke out.<br/><br/>Official sources said, the top government functionaries decided that all assistance would be given to the state government to tackle the situation arising out of the violence. The BJP government in Haryana, led by Manohar Lal Khattar is grappling with the quota agitation of the powerful Jat community.
