Senior leader Eknath Khadse has resigned from his primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party.<br />'' <br />'' In a single-line letter sent to Maharashtra's BJP chief Chandrakant Patil, he said he is resigning on personal grounds.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, his entry into the Nationalist Congress Party has also been confirmed.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier today, NCP leader and state Water Resources Minister Jayant Patil informed reporters in Mumbai that Khadse would be inducted into the NCP on Friday.<br />'' <br />'' In a tweet, Mr. Patil claimed that numerous other leaders, of the BJP are in touch with the NCP.<br />'' <br />'' Speculations regarding Khadse's exit from the BJP were rife since last year, especially when he was denied a ticket for 2019 Maharashtra Assembly polls.<br />'' <br />'' Before that, Khadse had been forced to resign as Revenue Minister from the Fadnavis led cabinet after corruption charges were levelled against him in the MIDC land deal case.<br />
