In Mumbai, a senior journalist with an English daily has been shot dead by unidentified assailants. Joint Police Commissioner (Law & Order) Rajnish Seth said the journalist – Jyoti Dey was shot dead in Powai area by four motorcycle-borne assailants. The assailants later escaped from the spot.
