<span style="color: #222222;">Senior journalist and retired IIS officer Pratap Bordoloi passed away last night at his residence in Guwahati. He was 72. Mr. Bordoli who retired in 2009, worked in various capacities in AIR News and Doordarshan News. His last rites were performed at Navagraha in Guwahati today. Senior minister Ranjit Kumar Dass, MP Dilip Saikia, legislator Jayanta Malla Baruah among others paid tributes at Navagraha. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma  has offered condolece  on   his demise. Earlier, his motral remains were taken to AIR Guwahati, Doordarshan and Guwahati press club.</span><br />
