Veteran journalist, Hemendra Narain has passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest. Narain (65) was recently discharged from a hospital in New-Delhi after being treated for a lung disease. Family sources said that he died last night after slipping on the bathroom floor. <br/><br/>Narain began his journalistic career with the United News of India (UNI) in Patna and thereafter worked as a special correspondent in newspapers Indian Express and The Statesman. He was cremated this afternoon. A condolence meeting was also held in Narain's memory which was attended by several media persons.
