Senior IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, Pramod Kumar, was today arrested in New Delhi by the CBI for allegedly entering into a criminal conspiracy to get a bribe of nearly 10 crore rupees from a private firm accused of duping general public of of 829 crore rupees.He has been sent to a transit remand by a Delhi court and would be produced before a designated court in Chennai tomorrow.The accused officer has been on the run for many months. His anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Madras High Court on April 20.
