Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Member P Govardhan Reddy died today. He suffered a heart attack in Kullu Manali, Himachal Pradesh. <br/><br/>Mr Reddy, who hailed from Telangana, was in Kullu Manali to attend a Parliamentary committee meeting.<br/><br/>Telangana Chief Minister K Chandraskehar Rao has expressed grief over the death of Mr Reddy.<br/><br/>Vice President and Chairman Rajya Sabha Mohammad Hamid Ansari has condoled the passing away of Rajya Sabha Member Palvai Govardhan Reddy. <br/><br/>In his message, Mr Ansari said, Mr Reddy was an active and respected member of Rajya Sabha and he will be remembered for his relentless efforts towards the welfare of farmers in Telangana.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief on the demise of Rajya Sabha MP Palvai Govardhan Reddy. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, his thoughts and prayers are with his family and supporters of Mr Reddy.
