Senior BJP leaders including party President Rajnath Singh, former President Nitin Gadkari and leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitly will meet Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP leader Narendra Modi today.
The meeting is scheduled to be held this afternoon at Narendra Modi's Gandhinagar residence.
They will discuss the current political scenario of the country against the back drop of just concluded Lok Sabha elections.
AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports, top BJP leaders will hold series of meetings to finalise the structure of new Government at the Centre after the poll result.
BJP President Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitly and Nitin Gadkari will meet Narendra Modi and likely to discuss the role of senior party leader Lal Krishna Advani in the new Government.
BJP leaders will also discuss the possibility of taking support from some other political parties after the poll result.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Revenue Minister Anandiben Patel is the font-runner for Chief Minister's post if Narendra Modi- heads the BJP and NDA Government at the Centre.
According to sources, the final decision in this regard will be taken in party's parliamentary board meeting after the declaration of election results.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Narendra Modi will also chair the state cabinet meeting today.
