Senior BJP leaders including party president Rajnath Singh and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi are discussing the party’s strategy for the formation of new Government at the centre. Meeting is under way at the official residence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi at Gandhinagar. Former party president Nitin Gadkari and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitly are also present in the meeting. Earlier, after reaching at Ahmedabad airport this evening, BJP President Rajnath Singh said that there is no doubt that BJP led NDA Government will come to power at the centre and Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister. He said that political situation will be discussed in the meeting, while other important issues including responsibilities will be finalised in Party’s parliamentary Board meeting. Our Ahmedabad correspondent reports that meeting assumes significance following indications of exit polls that BJP led NDA will get majority in Loksabha poll. BJP’s parliamentary board meeting is likely to be held at New Delhi- on 17th, a day after the final outcome of poll results.
