Hectic parleys are on among BJP leaders and with their allies on the formation of the Narendra Modi led new government at the Centre. BJP leaders including Amit Shah, Uma Bharti, J. P. Nadda, Venkiah Naidu and Ananth Kumar met Narendra Modi at Gujarat Bhawan in the national capital.

NDA partner Ramdas Athawale of the Republican Party of India also met Mr. Modi. Besides, a number of leaders met Party President Rajnath Singh also. They included BJP general secretary Ram Lal, party MPs Maneka Gandhi, Udit Raj and Rajya Sabha member Vijay Goel. Former Union minister in the NDA government I D Swamy also met Singh.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu also met Rajnath Singh. The chief minister-designate of Andhra Pradesh has already announced that his party would join BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
