Pakistan's army says it has arrested a senior al-Qaeda leader and two of his accomplices. The military in a statement says, the arrested leader Younis al-Mauritani planned and executed international operations for the global terror network.The Pak army said the men were seized in the suburbs of the south-western Pakistani city of Quetta. It said Mauritani was tasked personally by Osama Bin Laden to focus on hitting targets of economical importance in United States of America, Europe and Australia.The operation was planned and conducted with technical assistance of United State Intelligence agencies with whom Inter-Services Intelligence has a strong, historic intelligence relationship.
