Sena to continue protest against book launch of Pak ex FM Kasuri

Shiv Sena says it will continue its protest against the book launch of former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mr. Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri. Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut told a press conference in Mumbai that his party has been protesting against Pakistan for the last so many years and today too their stand is that the book release programme should be cancelled. <br/><br/>Calling the ink attack on Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni a mild and democratic way to protest, he said the protests that started in the morning will continue till the evening programme.

Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut told a press conference in Mumbai that his party has been protesting against Pakistan for the last so many years and today too their stand is that the book release programme should be cancelled. <br/><br/>Calling the ink attack on Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni a mild and democratic way to protest, he said the protests that started in the morning will continue till the evening programme.<br/><br/>Amidst protests by Shiv Sena since morning, the book release function of former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mr. Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri went off smoothly at Nehru Science Centre in Mumbai today. The State Government had provided security inside as well as outside the venue to avoid any untoward incident. Earlier in the morning, organizer of the function Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni's face was smeared with black ink by a group of Shiv Sena workers. The incident had drawn criticism from all quarters of the society.
