Sena slams Centre, Maha govt for price rise of essential commodities

Shiv Sena has criticised the Centre and the Maharashtra government for rise in prices of essential day to day commodities such as rice, wheat, oil, sugar, vegetables, petrol, diesel. <br/><br/>In an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, it said that split red gram which was 88 rupees per kg rose to 180 rupees per kg in the past 4 months. It said, prices of wheat, sugar and rice too rose. This has led to increase in monthly expenditure twice the time. The editorial mocked over prices of gold and silver and questioned that what will a commoner do if the price of gold and silver come down.
