Supreme Court Middle Income Group Legal Aid Society is organizing a seminar on providing legal aid to persons belonging to the group in Cuttack in Odisha on 30th of this month. <br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi today, Secretary of the society and Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar said, six High Courts namely Odisha, Kolkata, Patna, Jharkhand, Allahabad and Chattishgarh will participate in the seminar. <br/><br/>Mr Kumar said, while legal services are provided free of cost to some sections of the society, but their is no such help for the middle income group. He said, middle income group people can get their cases argued in the Supreme Court for a nominal fees between 15 thousand to 25 thousand rupees. Mr Kumar said, to fulfill the requirement the annual gross salary should not exceed Rs 7.5 lakh and the monthly income Rs 60 thousand.<br/><br/>He said, the general public is not aware of it and efforts are being made to create awareness among the general public on the beneficial scheme.
