<br/>In Andhra Pradesh, self immolation by a student sparked protests across Telangana region and public representatives were mobbed at several places by pro-Telangana students and activists demanding their resignations. A Minister and three legislators, who were visiting their constituencies to participate in official programmes after getting a two-day break from the Assembly session, were among them.<br/>Political leaders across the party lines had to face the fury of relatives and villagers when they arrived at Naagaram in Ranga Reddy district last evening to pay homage to Yadagiri, the student who died after immolating himself near the Osmania University campus in support of statehood for Telangana. Police struggled to protect the leaders when the angry residents mobbed TDP, Congress and TRS leaders questioning their sincerity over telangana issue. Meanwhile, the Osmania University campus has remained calm and students took out a candle light rally on Sunday paying tributes to Yadagiri who immolated himself a day before.
