Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh today said that self attestation in documents is a tribute to the youths of the country.<br/><br/>Speaking at a workshop in New Delhi, Mr Singh said the present government has abolished the age old practice of getting documents attested by a gazetted officer.<br/><br/>He said this shows that the government has the capacity to trust the youth of this country. Saying the benefits of good governance should reach the last citizen at the last mile, Mr Singh said the poorest of the poor are taking pride in many schemes announced by the present government including Jan Dhan Yojana.
