Cricketer and former India opener Virender Sehwag and celebrated athlete P T Usha have been named in a 12-member Committee which has been handed the job to pick this year's Khel Ratna and Arjuna awardees. The Committee, will be headed by Retired Justice C K Thakkar. Among the other 9 members, the Committee has Mukund Killekar from the field of boxing, Kabaddi player Sunil Dabbas and Para athlete Latha Madhvi besides 3 journalists, Injeti Srinivas, Director General, Sports Authority of India and Ranvir Singh, Joint Secretary in the Sports Ministry. The committee will meet on the 3rd of next month to select this year's awardees.
