Sehwag-Dravid torment Kiwis; India 329 for 3 on day 1 at Motera

On the opening day of the first Cricket Test against New Zealand at Ahmedabad today, Virender Sehwag smashed a blistering 173 and Rahul Dravid hit a fluent 104. India ended the day piling up 329 for three in their first innings. For Sehwag, it was his 22nd Test century while for Dravid it is his 30th hundred. The 237-run second-wicket partnership between the two, eclipsed the previous record of 204 set by Sunil Gavaskar and Surinder Amarnath in Auckland in 1976.At stumps, Sachin Tendulkar on 13, and V.V.S. Laxman on 7 were at the crease.
