In Kerala, security has been tightened across the state ahead of the verdict in Ayodhya title case. Entire police force of the state has been placed on maximum alert.State Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that security for prominent places of worhsip will be enhanced. Anti-sabotage squad and bomb squad have been deployed in certain places. The state has requested for three company Rapid Action Force from the centre. Rallys and demonstrations are banned across the state. Prohibitory order has been issued in some districts. Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan and Opposition leader Oommen Chandy have urged the people to keep the secular tradition of the state and respect the court verdict.
